I do like how this story shows the downside of singular faith. Like if you only think one thing is correct it destroys one’s ability to grow.
Healing magic is cool, but when only 1 out of how many ppl can learn it the common person suffers in the worst way. The magicians being scared to lose their power is just proof the healing doesn’t matter the POWER does.
.. im getting mad, like you all know you have to ceep the seacret of knowing how to “heal” and all that, and then thay traspase and find out, and all you do is let them go without doing anything, becose thay foresed a good outcome by forsfully healing somone that thay wur working on “healing”…
They didn’t believe in the power of science yet.
Couple with healing magicks, they could definitely jump their world’s medical / health standard into leaps if they only knew…
