I feel like he will die and have to make a choice of whether to be revived in that world and never be able to return home, or just return home and never come back. And it will probably have a cliff hangar, but he obviously chooses staying or actually maybe not since I can see a scene where he is his apartment flipping through his Diary reminiscing and then Kuro stops by out of the blue, then it ends
