This is stupid.
Even in the Novel he came there hot headed but it was NEVER about a “firstfight” or anything like it. Megiddo is stupid but not an idiot, he wanted a “contest” from the beginning. It is hard to read out in the novel too, yes, but not as blatantly sad portrayed as in this manga …
