this chapter made me dislike mc and i hope Cross loses the control hes under and stabs him again that way maybe mc will take the hint lol but ofc thats now how its gonna go like usual
People will hate on the Ema for the words she said. Guys, MC is also in the wrong here. He could have told her that he was injured, yes he has blood on his clothes, it happens adventuring, MC decided to hide his wound. Also, why do you not even warn people? Does the MC not think his friend is dangerous? Regardless if he knows if his friend was controlled or not, getting stabbed, he should have at least warned Ema or anybody else for that matter that there is a STRONG individual who is currently not in the right state of mind.
Instead, he cares more about their party’s reputation? Seriously? How is this more important? What if his friend shows up back with his party and randomly stabs another person? What if he does worse to Tiana? I’m sorry author, the love plot has disrupted the process of basic thinking of the characters so much it’s utterly unbelievable that a person would react like this.
And before anybody says that it might disturb peace and sow panic. If his friend decides to hurt somebody more important, like an S rank person (Tiana, Ema or other party members) or a royal (remember he has connections to royal family since he was awarded by them) or anybody else with a higher position (Like that disgusting guy aiming for Tiana, the Sage or something), then there will be significantly more damage not only to their reputation but add worse panic. Had he warned them, they could have at least searched for his friend or take immediate action.
I’m not expecting a 10/10 manga nor do I expect ruthlessness or OP MC. But an MC who could at least prioritize safety instead of reputation would have been great.

Yeah I don’t have much sympathy for his old party members. Cross, Tiana, Ema, etc are just as wishy washy as Aega. He has his faults, but Aega has charisma and attracts people to him like a Lord would. He only started to shine after leaving his party and developing his territory.
Cross? What was he waiting for with Tiana? Confess or move on? Ema? She’s too tsun for her own good with zero dere. Tiana? She flip flops too much with her mental states. The tank dude? He gets gaslit by his creepy childhood friend. The mage girl? She’s honestly too young for an adventurer. Aega? Was he the mother of this unstable party doing odd jobs?
You are no longer my student or my teammate. I hope Aega finally moves on. I really want to see the end stage evolution of his ability. That’s an ability Oda Nobunaga or any military commander would want. It feels like the plot just lags behind when his old party gets involved or just derails from the tracks.
