This is an interesting twist. Technically if they all started up a party without Ares they could start going after the Demon Lord again, but then the title wouldn’t really be appropriate anymore. Can they resolve hero’s issues without Gideon having to leave his home (and waifu)?

it was already mentioned on previous chapter that glasses-sage is an ex-noble. but everybody in hero’s party has their own agenda. none of them are meant to be the real hero to save humanity. including ruti who really wants to throw away her own “protection” just to live a normal life.
but yeah, as most of manhwa, manga, manhuwa, (lite)novel, movies and such. ppl tend to ignore their raison d’être by being a creature that created in this world. instead, they made their own raison d’être as if they’re just pop out of nothing
