That scene of the prince calmly panicking while taking decisive action was more emotionally impactful than the rest of this manga combined so far.
i believe this mc never read a monster encyclopedia before. he is just too dense

why do the people of that town seem to have a veil of blindness cast on them? the guild leader isn’t reacting to the princess or prince, but he also doesn’t know that it’s a goblin emperor. where did the prince get the gem if they burned it? is it from a different goblin emperor that was coincidentally hunted down too? wtf is happening
He’s so modest it’s almost painful, but he doesn’t hesitate to jump into action! 
It’s half systematic sloth really, the Princess is not asking the guild to reevaluate him, he thinks he is just a bum. The guy at the bar/guild simply assumed it was a common type of goblin, given how adventures boast, he ignores any extra info that can not be proved, the guild in and of itself does not waste too much time on low ranks, since adventures tend to seek out becoming a higher rank. Since he assumes he is a low rank he does not seek anything more, it’s hella annoying to be that practical and simple. But it’s also what people in dead end jobs do, they tunnel vision on their rut, never expanding their vision or skills.

This comic is a idiotic* good MC driven to it’s illogical extreme.
It gets stale fast. Last chapter it completely ran of its novelty.
I might come back later, but for now I can’t stand now of it.
