Biggest flaw in these types of story is when a really intelligent character who used to be an adult, doesn’t realise a person has intimate feelings for them. Especially when everyone else around them does, but that person seems oblivious.
It suspends belief more than if a dragon flew down firing missiles.

I hesitated when I saw that cursed logo again. Fortunately it’s not the same kind of dumpster fire we usually receive from that source, but it could still use some polish. A lot of the statements seem terse, like stating something academic instead of carrying a conversation.

And [Grandpa] considers Aunt Shanet a competitor, in what exactly? And why would he have any reason to stomp on Tia’s growth, when he’s been encouraging and watching over her for all these years? Somethings up. And I’m more willing to bet someone screwed up on TL side, rather than something going on in the story.
