Why are people dissing the …. book MC (already forgot his name:p)? You do realize that although we are seeing her development all the time, he hasn’t. And before she took over, the previous owner of the body harrassed him constantly to the point of obsession and this went on for years. She even tried to kill the woman she regarded as a threat to his affection. We are talking about a bad behaviour that dwarfs anything he has shown so far. She was the “villainesse” after all. He is damn well in his right to distrust her and even for lashing out. Maybe there is some jealously there idk, but its mainly distrust in her motives. I mean he is the books MC, and its not a hard sell to concider his perspective that she is an evil snake trying to manipulate everyone around her so she can get what she wants.

oh the chaos and the tension you can cut with a knife really is entertaining when watching it from the outside while being able to egg or direct the tension shifting how you want it to fall is truly fascinating to watch as it plays out
