Ok this is my theory i think that the regressor originally pushed the mc into the monsters and instead of this happening the mc somehow escaped and then awakened the black heavens in another way , but in this timeline the regressor regressed and then died and the mc awakened the black heavens by absorbing his stigma vega , this is good because now the mc might change his mind about the whole destroying the world stuff because he will start getting flashbacks of the regressors memories and it might change him
This is just my hypothesis but if we take a look the mc meet the hero before he regress so it means in their past lives they also met and the hero kick him and leads to him getting the scar on his face or maybe he almost died in that dungeon
I wonder is he still go end the world
so is he going to be a bad guy after all?
so basicly heavenly demons fulfil the oath by not absorb vega and fullfil the oath to absord another conctelation
so basicly the regresor scam the heavenly demon, and heavenly demon got scamed. just like heavenly demon scam the mc, and mc scamed heavenly demon, and heavenly demon scam the mc, so infinited loops scams
So.. now that he has the strongest stigma he couldn’t even get in the other timeline and got rid of the one who in the end killed him he has already won.. end of story
But I guess the author spins it that he’s now a good guy because he wasn’t betrayed
That being said.. he ended the world and killed all the constellations and humans because of one simple betrayal? His motivation as a villain is flat as hell that’s almost OG broly level of stupid motivation…
