I feel like this was poorly timed. We are in the middle of a war, at least have that flashback when the character did something major. It was so random to 1 moment have that apostle death, aftermath, then someone who didn’t really appear in the arc gets like 2-3 dedicated SLOW PACED chapters..? I get that the author might have missed the timing, but why do you try to give that character a whole freaking romance side story?! You don’t need to give us sex scenes and a random mission scenes to tell us that he had something dear to him who he lost – we still don’t know how it relates to the current arc of going against the church… If there is no relevance, and the author just wanted to use fillers, I won’t be pleased.
ok this adds depth to them side chsracter….a smart move, hope autor does it well cause this one wasnt as gripping as it could have been
