you know this has been quite good cosmic horror themed manhua that is extremely dark in terms of its settings. But the last 20 chapter has really killed it. The Progress has become painfully slow. Author is falling into trap of UNNECESSARILY EXCESSIVE amount exposition bubbles all the shit chinese authors like to use that immediately get you out of the story(you dont need to explain everything under the sun with exposition bubbles, we;re not all that stupid), Like i didnt need to read 10 chapters of mc talking with his followers and that 1 pedobait showing me her feet for 3 chapters straight, i did not need to see all these Thirst baits and loli baits and I did CERTAINLY not need to watch the church gather for 5 chapters to witness their debauchery. All of this could’ve been 4-5 chapters and the pacing would’ve been fine, we already knew the church was shady and corrupt af. Story itself is already interesting, but the authors is falling into the trope where he uses EXCESSIVE amount of thirstbaits and exposition bubbles that really kills the mood, Some of the abstract arts dont need dialogue bubbles, our brain can fill the gap.
