This is like one of those fantasy scenarios where the ‘librarian’ knows everything, and is there to help whoever comes into his shop to ‘find their way’. The only difference here is that neither he nor they have the slightest idea of what’s actually going on… or not, but their mutual ‘misunderstandings’ just work out. It’s like the ultimate ‘self help’ shop, and maybe that’s the way it’s intended to be.
