And so begins the most generic isekai story ever. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t dislike it.
It was probably the first isekai anime I watched that actually led me to reading manga again just to see how the story went. This actually introduced me to the ‘story tag’ of Isekai. Beforehand I noticed there were a lot of shows about ‘reborn in another world’ or whatever, but I hadn’t realized there was a specific tag for them lol.
It’s definitely always going to have a place in my heart, regardless of how good or bad it is.
