No!
I know in some languages they use the same word (e.g. in German it is literally a monastery for nuns as a direct by word translation), but the correct word would have been: “nunnery”.
Otherwise she would have been the only woman in a castle (monasteries were basically just that) full of men with no access to women. And if history is anything to go by, she’ll end up pregnant.
There were even a nunnery pretty much next to a monastery, and someone or a bunch of them dug a tunnel from one to the other. Over time the tunnel walls then were filled up with the skeletons of infants … I will your imagination let do the rest.
