the more i read this the more i think maybe the heavenly demon cult may just have had a real reason to destroy the murim alliance, like we have seen what, 2 ppl who are not corrupt in the leadership? (and 1 of them gets assassinated in the first timeline meaning only 1) we don’t know the other side of the story, ‘if the roots are rotten the tree will fall’ sure there is no doubt that there are bad ppl on both sides, but at this point i just don’t know.
