Infinite Level Up in Murim

7/10 first 50 chapters are absolute bangers, the message of hard work is great and the talent of the other characters honestly overshadows the power of the system the side characters were really convincing and exciting, and the backstory is excellent too, unlike most regressing novels characters have their stories shown early on which really shines through withe alcoholic uncle. Plus the duck walking thing was honestly pretty cool too showing the amount of work it takes for excellence and how without prior running training the obsicles further ahead are impossible to take on foretelling that one must go step by step to achieve success, and that talent is a multiplier of hard work and doesn’t replace it. The problem comes after the school fighting arc where the MC learns the asura arts since it honestly stalls from there, you can only make so much of the hard work and dedication idea and they honestly don’t do it well either thereafter. This is because the MC no longer loses when he should, hear me out, in the begging of the series the thing that really captivated me was the punishment system how he was repremended for not beating his friend showed me that sometimes talent isn’t bridgeable at the moment and has to be carefully and slowly worked around so you can overtake them, but now he’s just running people down like they’re dominos and turns incredibly average. 5-6/10 overall but for the first few chapters 7/10 great novel
