… should be called light acceleration instead of teleportation it keeps confusing everyone
I’m seeing a lot of confusion and hate here, so I’m going to attempt to clear it up for you guys.
1: As stated in previous chapters and by many other people below, there are subsects of light speed. For this spell to work, they only need “semi light speed” that being 400 km/s, so it’s not really “teleportation” but more akin to just moving really fast. And assuming that the distance between 2 cliffs is 700m, than it would take them about 1.75 seconds.
2: Instead of just teleporting from start to finish instantly, they are teleporting in short bursts to conserve energy/focus and they move in a tempo of sorts. This kind of makes the whole later jump thing a little more believable because if your tempo and distance per teleport is long/fast enough, you can overtake someone who warped earlier that you. This also makes it more reasonable that people are able to follow what’s happening, and why this is such a drawn out thing.
3: I do agree with the fact that the jumping later = better is kinda stupid, but the whole reason it exists was to prove a point that was made in earlier chapters. (The whole if you live in the moment and don’t think about the future, you can overcome your fears and just jump off a cliff)
Overall, I feel that criticism is reasonable and I understand why people are displeased with the author about this, but if you’re going to get mad at the author, at least let it be well informed, and have a valid complaint.
ps. I think that a large part of why people hate how “drawn out” things are is due to the fact that they had to wait a whole week for something they feel is unnecessary or bad.
is the author confusing 700 meters with 700 kilometers?
This ‘teleport’ is taking way too long based on how much dialogue can be spoken in the meantime

Quite unrealistic here, speed of light is approximately 300 million miles/s. To use “Teleportation” you would need at least 1% of speed of light. So unless the goal distance is 700km this would’ve been over in a blink of eyes. Correct me if im wrong tho, by the way it shouldve been called “Flash” instead of “Teleportation”
