Think star trek and red dwarf and hard light holograms. Or energy barriers making energy a solid. It fits within the context of the pseudo science fantasy world build. 
if mass is added to light then doesn’t that become a material, like everything around is energy and light that is photon is the base of all substance i.e, atoms are made of electrons, protons, neutrons, when we zoom into them they are quantum which are packets of energy which are photons.
In short i’m trying to say if mass is added to light then it cannot travels at its speed of 3,00,000 m/s and also looses its property to shine, but here shirone’s light get added mass and the attack still shines and also it travels at the speed of light.
Doesn’t kinda make sense to me though!
But still this manhwa is fun and interesting as it use the knowledge of physics, maths, chemistry and bio on far better level than other thrasy manhwas and mangas which changes the laws its to make their story interesting .
