60 million? surely that’s mistranslated. 600 billion is more likely, if you’re constantly throwing your prime breeders into a meat grinder by the thousands.
I’m never happy with the idea of sacrificing people for a so-called greater good. Turn the stated order of such a “Practical” sounding philosophy around and ask, “If it’s such a great ‘Good’ then why is it required that people become its’ blood sacrifices just so it can continue existing as it currently does and therefore, also continue requiring more sacrifices?”
It’s one thing when someone makes a hero’s choice to sacrifice themselves for what they love and care about, home, family, freedom. But these young women were neither patriots nor heroes. They were desperate, hungry, displaced people who are just being used as convenient meat-dolls to feed an ungrateful, uninterested, gluttonous population of people …who are themselves also mere tools used by the ruling elites to position themselves at the top of an ever-growing pile of the bodies of their uncountable sacrifices. Surprisingly, just like in real life, it’s ultimately all about power and control.
