Al us defeats the ferme gaining respect from not only the nobles but also loyalty over the men he serves. He re-instates the ash family, marries them. Which proves as a strong bond between 2 strong families. The old king dies. Raymond succeeds him and alums claims more credit and respect because of his inventions and tactics. He also starts his plan for centralisation. Protecting the peoples rights and culling the di el family and their patriarch, bringing security to the roisce kingdom. He then takes the throne. Blah blah blah. That’s how I think this will go.

I wonder if his blessing of the king will apply to the entire column of soldiers or if there is a threshold of loyalty that needs to exist from the men before they get the strength boost? So ironically they might not get strengthening until AFTER he engages the enemy and only AFTER he helps route them earning their loyalty. If so it would have been better to have some kind of ceremonial transition of power with good marketing to play up his capabilities and help earn more loyalty before they engage.
