The readers have to remember that the isekai’d MC comes from a monogamous culture. Although it’s not been highlighted by the mangaka, having a concubine (or a second wide) IS the norm this societies’ elites.
It’s not the MC’s fault that he hasn’t totally wrapped his brain around that cultural ‘fact of life’…yet.
