His fellow transmigrators seem to be the standard selfish douche bags! However most Japanese follow the same culture which is very self deprecating. For example; I do not want to stand out, i want an easy life, no intrest in females/to dense to notice girls, or they have no self esteem and get bullied. Hence the high number of suicides and low birth rates. The United States should have made Japan an official state after World War 2 instead of just making it a puppet state.
This story has the potential to be interesting.
Reminds me a little of the anime I saw where the guy had “online shopping” skill, it ended up being an awesome skill, even to group of goddesses.

Why they never talk about they life before be summoned? I never seen an isekai’s MC crying about never see thye beloved ones again! I would be devasteted! 
To think, for years I’ve passed this manga… well, time to savor this one.
