Summary

A brief description of the manga Isekai Walking:

Sora, a Japanese boy who was summoned to another world, gained the skill “Walking”. Its effect is that “no matter how much he walks, he never gets tired”. Because of this weak skill, the king expelled him from the group of summoned heroes. But when Sora starts walking in another world, he suddenly levels up!

Walking had a hidden effect of “gaining 1 EXP for each step taken”. He acquired useful skills such as ‘Appraisal’, ‘Alchemy’, and healing magic… Getting one skill after another, he became talented just by walking! The adventure to encounter and touch the unknown is about to begin!

This is a great manga, but my comment is to talk about the current status of the translation

Guys…

The translator that is currently translating this manga said that this manga has gotten a company named Kmanga to make the official translation. And that in respect to the official source, the translator will stop translating this manga series.

I also read some of the comments that were made in the last chapter (Where this was announced at the end) and they say that aparently Kmanga is US only. Which is sad.

Even then, Kmanga still has to catch up to this translation and they are apparently only publishing a new chapter once a week.

A sad day for us, readers

The worldbuilding, characters, and everything else is great. It makes me happy at how simple and fun the story is. Its super wholesome and i would recommend.

So i just found this manga 2 days ago and i reach ch 69 today.

I think story is developing pretty good. Pacing also enjoyable for me, its not too fast like other isekai genre.

This is just my opinion, but i think this story will get better if author can develop mc character to be more ambitious from now on. :gron:

With this manga’s title, I strongly hoped it would be comedy centered, perhaps a parody; it’s ultimately a relaxing read that doesn’t do or attempt much at all. There’s nothing ambitious with the plot or characters while the explanations and system in itself is vague and basic. For a serious, drawing read it fails all criteria’s but for a mediocre slow life, probably harem, manga it suffices. This is definitely a preferential read as if you love or enjoy the slow life trope then you’d probably like this; but if you don’t or are impartial to the genre then it definitely isn’t the best read out there.

I must say I’m a bit disappointed. Idk, even if it’s in the title, walking and exploring a bunch of different and beautiful landscapes doesn’t seem to be the premise of this story at all.

It just seems like the author is more concerned with making the MC real powerful instead of exploring the world.

Could have been a decent and unique manga but it just didn’t happen I guess.

Idk though bc I didn’t read super far into it.

I had reservations about the ‘op absurd skill’ trope myself but after reading through chapter 33 I found the MC’s skills are fairly balanced.

And as with most stories it’s less about abilities and more about interactions with the world.

It’s a decent read if you feel like a lighthearted one.

Nice and easy read, however, the MC is a little wishy-washy. He does have growth potential. I kinda wanna see him show up the others that were summoned.

Light-hearted isekai slice of life, focuses on otherworld life and people are more realistic than the bunch of other isekai. Its good at what it does though doesnt really stand out much… its a solid above average isekai story. a perfect time killer that you can pickup and put down anytime and doesnt leave intense cliffhangers but actually tries to have episodic resolutions to every chapter.

Imma say this now. Why is this 4.3? It’s so unoriginal. It’s so unoriginal that if I made a comparison to these kinda isekais and kids tv shows. The kids tv shows would be 10x better and more original. Seriously. Try to convince me otherwise. My mind is open
