I’ve been trying to understand the explanation on slavery in the city, but it’s too weird.
- “Normally, they wouldn’t even allow it into the city…”
- “…so the inspectors look the other way.”
- “…a place as hostile to slaves as this!”
It sounds like slavery is prohibited here, but there is a slave shop operating like a normal business instead of in secret. Even has a store sign.

Was totally expecting the Saint to be the Japanese schoolgirl with a Saint job (the Church took her to the Holy Kingdom).
I guess she could be using a disguise. Or maybe there can be more than one Saint.
