What good is it to lock your saint up and never let her enjoy any of the pleasures of life. This respite may mean that major changes will need to occur within the church. So a cardinal can get married, but the saint can not even see the town? And how does she even know she should be a saint, not like she was ever given a choice.

Not sure about human priests an saints if ye tried ta lock a Dwarf saint away be a bloodbath, they tend ta be as tetchy as our Gods.
