Isekai Walking - Chapter 14

I really dislike the personality of the MC, here’s why:
1. He is sent into a dangerous world, AND he has information that war with the demon king is soon to come, hence the world will become even more hectic. I believed it was fore-shadowed when the wolves(monsters) came to a beginner area when they shouldn’t have. My point is, MC does not take time to consider the dangers around him and the actions he can take, F.e getting stronger and assimilating himself into the world. Instead, he continues to act weak and rely on everyone around him. Which leads me to point 2.
2. MC’s weakness. I understand it being hard at first. You’re summoned to an unfamiliar world, with unfamiliar traditions and behaviors. You know nobody, and you are left to fend for yourself. Alright. But our MC does not try to change the fact that he is weak. Instead, he keeps relying on and easily trusting everyone around him. He expects everything to go his way just because people were nice to him. We can see it from a lot of his behaviors, with a strong example being how late he got the Appraisal Block skill. + He doesn’t try to actively become more capable. Which leads me to point 3.
3. MC’s passivity. As been said in point 1, he’s in an unknown and dangerous world. Instead of actively getting to know more about it, he just casually strolls through life. He lacks curiosity and ambition. I’m not asking him to become a ruler, but at least be ambitious enough to survive. He does not take a deeper look at his abilities and what they entail, instead, he looks at things superficially. “Swordsmanship? I guess that makes me better with swords.” Is what he’s thinking. But it probably also improves his dynamic vision, etc… Many things could have more meaning to them. He doesn’t try to find it out.
