It’s actually not that hard to do, it’s like acting. You just respond mentally and emotionally with the same essence that is being projected at you. It’s a coping mechanism that some people learn in order to survive. It’s not something that people like to have use, especially with people they trust or care about. They don’t want to show “that” to anyone but their enemies…. It can be lonely
