I like how realistic Rachael is depicted.

This is the perfect example of a chapter that makes me utterly hate a story.
A chapter purely existing to rub in how much plot we could have if the storywriter didn’t choose to skip content like crazy.
Or worse: decides to conveniently put content in the past that clearly only exists to smooth over a problem created by the main story someone didn’t think about while writing and then went … oops … what now?
MC in the past: yeah we did that and that and were busy preparing for that …
MC now: and meanwhile I also effortlessly did everything to smooth things over for you yadda yadda.
..
While I’m happy this gets updates … I don’t like the direction this is going.
