There’s things I don’t understand about MC and his dragons’s course of action here; sure, the dragon drug maybe illegal to some extent by the kingdom rule, but if growing the seed for the base of the drug is not illegal, why conceal it? Unless the solely reason for the seed plantation is to manufacture that dragon drug, it doesn’t make sense if the seed can be found freely in the market, indicating it wasn’t entirely used for the drug making, so instead of try to grow them, purchasing them will be easier and faster drug turning rate. He might say it will grow suspicion to suddenly purchase them in large quantity, but that may be his own worry. In my opinion, his worry is kinda baseless, and so growing the seed let alone concealing it is questionable.

Things are too easy for the MC, then again can he conceal drug fields from the princess? Then again i can also see a plot twist where the drug is illegal because there are elements in the royal family that are monopolizing it, and MC will be cutting off their source of revenue.
Originally I was hoping for MC to say “ok” and start looking at land in other kingdoms for his pharmaceutical operations. Then the kingdom goes “hold up, dragon knights are a military asset, bring that kid back asap, do whatever it takes with in reason to keep him placated”. This would then cause more feuding with the knightly orders.
However if my top theory of the nobility being behind the drug trade turns out correct then the story is fine as is.
