The Kazuma with the kids is the confident, fun, engaging Kazuma who would have a chance with Chizaru. Instead he lives inside his own head 99% of the time and makes all of us, Chizaru included, want to kick his butt. Stop being like. Lack of confidence is understandable , but growing up is about moving past it to tackle your life goals. Thats why this manga is so annoying!
