This series would be better if we didn’t see all of Kazuya’s inner dialogue. A lot of it is unnecessary and cringe.
He also always acts like a child when she talks to him (which is also really cringe and tiresome).
i’ve been kinda defending this series saying it’s kinda fun as a slice of live type thing but i’m getting tired of his incel behavior.

Don’t know if anyone from the publication company monitors things here, but let me state what is true for a huge segment of the fanbase:
we are tired of him being a “talking in his head,” weak-willed, going backwards and useless MC. At the end of the film arc was the time to spend a final arc (or two) to take us to a good conclusion. Instead he has moved 50 meters back from his standing at the end of that arc.
You want to know who did this well? Read Girlfriend, Girlfriend. In the back half of the story we saw two main characters, Shino and Mirica, progress in their presentation and winning over the MC. They had fits and starts (especially Mirica) but you didn’t feel like you were on a yo-yo ride. That series would have been fun to have another 30-50 chapters, but, at 150, they told a complete series. We are now at 300 and Kazuya is essentially where he was at chapter 10.
And why this matters…I have not bought the last several volume releases. Because it seems meaningless. I’m basically reaching the point where i will just wait till someone tells me, “they finally wrapped.” then I’ll read the final issue (and if he ends up with Sumi or Ruka, okay).
This is not how maturing adults behave. And i’m not going to keep buying volumes with the emotional equivalent of water going around the drain.

One again, the OTT sidekick has set things up (she totally stacked the deck). Too bad she doesn’t just place her foot clearly upsided his bum, or headbutt him, which is what he really needs.

That is the worst TOPIC that could be drawn. Especially while Chizuru is conducting her investigation. Once more Mimi is trying too hard. It is too obvious she rigged the game.

I dropped this manga a while back. So, here I am thinking we’re on chapter 300, surely we’ve made progress by now. Surely this manga is still not being stretched. Surely. Lo and Behold, nothing has changed.
