I wonder why the “great righteousness” master built the entire dungeon to imprison millions of ghosts rather than purifying/reincarnating them. Unless he had zero techniques for actually dealing with the subjugated spirits, there almost certainly would have been a better way of handling it than “seal them all in the tomb, and power the magical locks with a magical generator inside the room with all the free-roaming spirits”…
