How did he pull her head off?
people are confused why others get annoyed at female deaths. it is not the fact that women are dying, its the fact that there is a high rate of women being added to the team then quickly getting killed off. there hasnt been much time for a female character to shine at all in this series as they die suddenly in combat.
on the other hand, the death of blue haired guy was an impactful moment. i didnt mind the death of the girl in the rust knight mission since it showed the reality of the situation. but these two deaths here are rather lacklustre imo.
it all sums up to us wanting meaningful characters, not the fact that women are being killed off. ive said this before with this series: at least let me feel a connection to the characters before killing them off so then i can feel sad instead of disappointed.
this applies to central characters only btw, as in people added to the team who also show character development and are interesting. if the guy with the fingernail gun died to a random fishman rn, i would be disappointed. why? because an interesting character (plotwise) got killed off without any real impact.
The inconsistencies and resulting consistency of a scheme rh kills the plot.
It is just plain weird for dwayne to sh block 2 hits without the shoulder guards active

As a note, y’all keep forgetting that the guys are dying too. It’s just that the MC and Dwayne are surviving. The women actually survive longer, so their death brings a greater psychological impact on you. Remember the guys during the “there needs to be x number of alive people in this floor” room? How all of them died, but all of you keep harping on about the women? That’s because they died quickly and you forgot about them – the women survive, so you remember them when they die.

Considering that their bodies have been canonically strengthened, the hair should fall out of her head before her head falls off of her body. Although I’m not sure how the tension/young’s modulus of hair works when braided into a rope, I feel like hair shouldn’t be that strong.
I mean the odds are low but I guess if this happened irl its possible all the females on your team keep dying
Honestly, this is getting pretty stupid. You kill main characters to keep things unpredictable, but now the author has created a predictable pattern of killing every female character. Just too silly and borderline misogynistic.
