Sooo… Did the mangaka forget that there isn’t supposed to be anyone else nearby because the land was bought by the former human King and given to the MC and he traveled for over a day before he reached the point where he set up his base? This means the castle isn’t on that feudal Lord’s lands and he in fact invaded Kidan’s land AND the village isn’t supposed to be that close either unless they set it up illegally.
