Review of Let’s Buy The Land And Cultivate In Different World (Up to Chapter 60.5)
This is the kind of story you can read without using much brainpower. The main character is basically a walking miracle—he can do anything effortlessly, and he’s your typical naive “nice guy” who forgives everyone and tries to turn enemies into allies.
Most of the conflicts are just setups for a joke or punchline. The story leans hard into introducing Japanese culture to the isekai world—whether it’s food, buildings, or customs—but it does so in a way that feels repetitive and not very creative. The way other characters go crazy over Japanese food is honestly pretty ridiculous.
It also doesn’t really deliver on the “slow life” promise. Building a house? Done in one panel. Everything happens way too fast and easily. There’s no real struggle or gradual development—just instant results like a cheat code.
That said, it’s still an enjoyable and easy read. It’s like junk food—lacking in depth or nutrition, but still tasty in its
own way.
This is presented as a slow life manga, but it’s more of a wish fulfillment book, and the author’s wishes lean pretty wholesome. There is suggestion of a harem, but it now seems clear why there’s no tag. I got mildly annoyed by the silliness and careless writing, but still had fun. It’s like playing with small children, give up the idea of in-depth worldbuilding or complex story arcs, and you may find yourself completely charmed. Also, it’s better in limited doses. I do recommend you give it a try, and if it doesn’t satisfy you, don’t feel bad, it’s just cotton candy.

Expect for when he gets the skill it’s never again called ‘Master of Supremacy’ its called all kinds of goofy things also the Queen and Princess is just miss so that’s wrong, one chapter has terrible translation like give you a headache trying to figure out. The story is good for the most part its choppy they say stuff and forget about them and other stuff but the Undead King is the Best!
No new chapters since January? I hope the author hasn’t given up on this story.
