I’m surprised they don’t spend more time after battle finishes seeding fields of produce all over Seoul so they have food to come back to if wild, train more people in cultivation, and have seed to grow/teach more. Maybe keep normal humans alive if any are left.

Huh. I was fully expecting him to almost win, then get beaten or shoved into a corner to be saved by the Lucifer demon queen chick. She did mention that she’d be descending next time, so I thought that’s where this was heading.
