The system at a first glance looks interesting but it has a lot of loopholes.
if he forced himself to drown, he got a skill. then wouldn’t that apply to literally everything. Slash 1000 times get skilled in a sword. Jump 1000 times, like you could improve your body to perfection. Do the same for literally every weapon. Stay on level 1 get proficient in every weapon, hit yourself with the same weapon, be resistant to fire/acid/poison any elemental shite first.
Why dont fill that regenerate-water in a bottle…
he should go to the salesman before heading to the second floor. he still have some good items.

why the F isn’t he burning, poisoning and paralysing himself and healing with the water until he gets the resistance skills for these??

Why not lvl up pain resistance at the healing well? He also had poison arrows he could have used there. Lastly why not sell a bunch of the rate meat and fur before going to the boss to buy better gear?
