Ketchup.
Ah, there were so many comments I didn’t made because I did read it elsewhere. (Though, chapter 71 isn’t there yet) And was too lazy to switch back and forth.
The heat here makes me lazy. It’s way above 100°F and we’re in no AC land. And to run an efficient AC is almost unaffordable with electricity costing up to $0.50/KW/h (was higher, but was limited by law). But the only kind I could use is terrible inefficient. Like having to run it 24/7 to reduce the temperature 5°C. It’s those units where you hang a hose out of the window. It transports the waste heat away. But the hose isn’t insulated and the window open. And the air for transporting the waste heat is taken from the room. So “fresh” new 100+°F air is drawn in from the outside. …
Technically normal split ACs are available, but you can’t get the permit to install them. So, no ACs for us.
American window units aren’t offered since we do use sliding windows in our country, so they wouldn’t work.
The only electrical device turned on are the fridge, router, and tablet. To block some heat shutters are closed, so I sit in the dark. Tablet complains it shouldn’t be used in wet environments. But that’s just me sweating.
The heatwave will go on another week at least. Or not. Weather models accurate more than 24h ahead broke down a long time ago.
