So the reason why they have difficulty modes was because of the original tower(solo mode) became unstable because of the interference of the ancient gods. Since distortion caused by cracks or rifts of space-time fabric cannot be repaired, they simply made up those modes to stabilized their control over the tower… My brain is reaching to edge, I can’t comprehend more

Having those mode was a loss and also a gain for people in earth. It made many more people survive but it also robbed them of what they could have been. I’m excited to understand the depths more. Will we finally find one piece?
