So… the old guild master threatened to sell her into slavery if she didn’t stay with Akatsuki? Or he convinced her she’d have to be a prostitute if she lost the gig?
I’d understand his motives if he actually was forcing her into prostitution. But he orchestrated a conspiracy and kept her in virtual slavery so that… the team could save on food costs? It’s a weirdly small payday for the risk and cruelty. There must be more to the story or it doesn’t make sense.
