Nit pick time.

Platinum should be 1000 gold minim, small being half value, large platinum 10k, with regional “kings coins” being higher multipliers.

Gold should be closer to 100$ or 10-15k yen. small being half value, large being 100 gold.

That way 10 large silvers, or 100 large coppers are equal to a gold. so you have small, large and normal denomination.

This allows better levels of economy, between the lower classes rarely trade gold, the middle classes trade mainly in gold, the higher classes can afford anything, but trading land, arms, goods, guards, or an army , platinum is easier to ship, than carts of gold..
