Summary

A brief description of the manga Living a Carefree Life Collecting Raw Materials in Another World:

Sozai Shuu, a working adult with a slightly weird habit of loving to collect raw materials, was transferred to another world by God after losing his life.

In order to live leisurely, Shuu wished for 『a power to live a carefree life collecting raw materials in another world.』His wish was successfully granted however, his magic power is strangely enormous, and his skill is really convenient? Seems like God misunderstood that he wanted to harvest materials from monsters leisurely so the power he gave Shuu was so incredible….

Nevertheless, Shuu does not take it to mind and freely uses his unique skill 【Detect】 in another world to search for materials, harvest them, eat them, make money off of them and lives a carefree life collecting materials.

Its actually not bad.
MC could have some more braincells but … well … I’ve seen worse and thats really sad.

Rather fun material collection series, driven main character who is not obsessed with strength but prefers collecting new materials.
The skills the mc has are not OP and fit the series very well, the author has left room for growth as well with the magic system using ones imagination.

This one got potential, it’s enjoyable so far, up until chapter 26, the story focused on material gathering and adventuring, no harem, no hero wannabe MC trying to save a maiden in distress, no stupid girl characters obsessed with MC. The downside MC lacking common sense, it feels like the author deliberately nerf MC Intelligence, even though MC was an adult and retained his memories from before… For now, 4,5/5 ⭐

It’s a pretty OK read. Nothing exceptional, nothing grand just a slow life of a dude gathering materials and interacting with people in an isekai world. However, the speed of the updates and new chapters completely kills any hype for this.

The Title should be “I’m so dense that if I was a pool of water, everyone could walk on me like Jesus.” I wanted to love it because I’m a sucker for Slice of Life and Materials/kingdom-building stories. But it’s a little bit too slice of life for me. The MC annoys me because he’s too good-natured and too removed from common sense. BTW, not bad-mouthing it completely. It is as its tags advertise, just not for me. Mainly putting this note here for future me, so I don’t wander back into sinking time in this when I could read something better. Binged to Chapter 24, btw.

Not anything special tbh.
It seems like a relaxing isekai with no action or drama as of chapter 15.
MC acts too much like a bumpkin not knowing anything nor coming up for a reasonable story for not knowing anything.
Overall, not going to bookmark this.
