I think he changed a lot. He may have built a self confidence, but consider he started from below zero. It’s just whatever he built, a trauma is a trauma. It’s a wall you can hardly overwhelm, but once you do it, it changes absolutly EVERYTHING.
So the author may keep this for later for him as a reborn.

I often criticize authors for bad writing. Not this time.
I’ve seen what this type of drama does to people. I’ve been fighting an uphill battle trying to help someone overcome their past trauma. It’s not easy, even with someone’s support.
This is the first time Hyung Suk has admitted to someone that he has a problem dealing with his past. He is making progress. Let’s not forget that body #2 has it easy with friends and whatnot, that while giving him a confidence boost, doesn’t help him deal with the damage that has been done to his psyche. Whenever there’s conflict, he freaks out. More so in his original body.
It’s gonna take him time to get himself right, and he will relapse, especially against a strong influence to his past. The writer’s pacing of this journey is spot on so far.
Let him cook.
Im sure the author could have wrote a way for him to have begun dealing with his trauma….after 190 chapters and he hasnt changed. Bruhh if it was for chracters like vasco, this series would have been dropped. THE AUTHOR KEEEPS EDGING LIKE A MF!!!!
