I found the first 50-100 chapters extremely endearing and interesting, as they were essentially a life story, a drama of sorts, with a focus on the differences between how people are treated extremely differently based on very superficial things.

And then it just became a story about 16 year olds running gangs and fighting. Over and over. It’s just them fighting with completely unrealistic levels of ability, and with a delusional outlook on age. Where 20 year olds are seen as old veterans and where 14 year olds run massive gangs. It’s almost comical.

Regardless, this story has taken a massive turn. If the first 50-100 chapters were intended for a more mature audience, everything after is more intended for an average isekai reader. I was utterly confused by the many comments here talking about how the art was bad or how the story was off at the beginning.

Because they’re completely wrong, at least from the point of view of an older person. The art early-on is somewhat unique and of a lower quality, but does a perfect job at conveying the deeply seated emotions that were the crux of the story at that point.

My opinion is that everyone should read the first ~50-100 chapters or so (at least until the point where the frankly moronic fighting and near-physical-superpowers begin, outside of the MC’s switching ability), and that it’s an interesting read for almost everyone up to there. When they start constantly talking about “crews” is when it becomes brain-numbing for anyone over 25 years old.
