The emperor is pretty slick. He knew of the crown prince’s plan. favoured his third brother and conspired against him to pull him down from being the heir to the throne. The prince is a fool as he fails to realise and understand the emperor’s question from the previous chapter. The emperor asked him that question to find out if he changed that’s why he had a momentary pause before he replied to his question.

Now the important topic what will happen to the annoying purple haired princess. She will have no shame and still clings onto mc till the end and does otffer a marriage but mc refuses so she(along with the priest girl who can see fate) will remain in the luo clan and mc will depart on his journey to the demon sect to fulfill his deal to the sect leader
