i love how both he and iruma grew from this conversation
iruma started out as a kid who was dragged into the underworld against his will, he passed his days there with only the though of not standing out and surviving, however he slowly learnt to enjoy his new life and be a part of the nether world
the story then made it a point to address his lack of ambition which amiri then showed him it’s importance
and now finally, it addressed the last point
iruma’s lack of vision
he knew he had to work hard to get to the top
since amiri teached him but he never had a REASON as to why he should strive for it, why he should become the king, what his perfect netherworld should look like
now nova gave him the spark needed for it and iruma grew as a result
That was a cool twist. Love the story writing of these guys.
