I guess even in the manhwa the author is trying to ragebait the readers. She clearly hears her father’s voice calling her name, but immediately goes “nah it can’t be him” and turns around for no logical reason. Why? Does she think someone is magically copying his voice just to trick her? What’s the excuse here?
It’s 100% artificial behavior just to force a stupid plot. If she had tried to run toward him but got caught by someone covering her mouth, that would have been frustrating but believable. Instead, this denial makes her look unrealistically dumb and it kills any immersion. Pretty lazy writing.
