On the netflix series the dad really looks like a moron at first, it’s a total ragebait as you see the context, you know in advance he’s skilled and that he’s dangerous, yet he act like a coward in front of everyone, makes his daughter feel like crap when he could at least declare her innocence, stand out for her even if these rich mf get angry and look for trouble later, at least the girl would have gone home with him and it wouldn’t happen, then his old identity gets seen by north korean authorities anyway and not even because he got mad for his daughter but simply being seen before that in a damn restaurant standing up doing nothing wrong LOL the netflix version is really making him look bad

At least in the manwha here, it begins directly with the girl at the school and him apologising, you see that before their bond and therefore the injustice doesn’t feel as disgusting, it’s much better already.
