Well, the fact that they want to make this as realistic as possible, the MC is just a kid from earth. I would complain if the MC was an old mayor, or manager or something. But the fact that he’s a kid, makes his decision making so bad. It also gives some progression to the character development. The downside to this one is, there’s no explanation to his ability creation. It’s just world-building. If they explained his skill, it would put a lot of immersion to the readers. But all in all, the mc sucks this time.

i mean props to the lad to know its dungeon and yet still do that
and the merchant act like as if they could get out alive if it really a demon lord dungeon, the whole conversation doesn’t make any sense. and for some reason, their demonic nature to kill humans is GONE ??? even tho the merchant is clearly hostile.
what kind of demon lord gets intimidated by a merchant, just tortures them or something, or feeds them to a crocodile.
