Summary

A brief description of the manga From Elf Reincarnation to Cheat Kingdom Founding Chronicle:

A genius magician, to fight against his fate to die a natural death from old age, grasped at the truth of magic to allow himself to reincarnate with a power he created himself. The cycle of reincarnation is repeated multiple times and in his 31st reincarnation, the magician became a boy named Syril who lives in a village of elves.

However, that village is ruled by Humans, and the Elves are treated as cattle. After becoming 14 years old, Cyril, who regained his past knowledge and experience, stands up to help a girl, Lucie, who is his childhood friend. The story of the creation of an ideal country begins in that one village, a place where all races can coexist. Elves, Fox-girl, and various other Heroines.

This is poorly written in so many ways. The plot is just a loose chain of cliches copy-pasted from other manga. Much of the magic system seems to be made up as it goes along, it’s certainly not consistent. MC has some kind of awakening where he becomes aware of and/or able to access his 30 past lives, but the author forgot to illustrate or explain it. It’s a lazy, trope-addled mess. Mercifully, it seems to also be abandoned. I’d look for something else.

man this is super slow release… but it’s a good read. Since it’s so slow, there is a lot that could be filled if they make an anime. Only 9.2 CH right now but it’s a good non-human isekai story. Imo the isekai as a human is overplayed so much it ridiculous. There needs to be more of them becoming other races, and the challenges of that, the MC having to alter the way they think and do because they aren’t human any more.

Genius? who the MC? the guy’s at best a savant, otherwise just another idiot especially if he is meant to the 31st reincarnation, at least one of them lived long enough to be at risk of dying from old age… seriously? the guy shows nearly no wisdom. he’s just running on adolescent hormones. One of his earlier reincarnations might have been a genius, but the current one isn’t.

The dialogue and logic are something you’d expect from a middle schooler with delusions. (Especially the lover’s dialogue)

MC shows little in the way of planning ahead, reacts to events instead of being proactive. Endangers friends and self, relies on Deus ex machina (in this case chance/luck at being able to summon powers from previous selves, while in combat and with a magic restricting collar) Is this guy intentionally planning to fail?

Strategy that matches objective, huh? what’s that… needs to steal something from storeroom, so let’s just go in the front door, attract as much attention as possible, then try to stealthy steal the goods, and escape without having a pack of hostiles hot on his trail, then sleep at a nearby location… um yeah that should work in a story that makes sense.
